Who is the Cotswold Traiteur? 10/06/2015, Producers

Everyone loves a meal prepared by a wonderful chef, but what if you could devour it in the comfort of your own home? Francis Green makes this possible. Creating his meals by hand using local produce, Francis puts love, care, and imagination into his Cotswold Traiteur dishes.

We asked Francis to explain what traiteur means. Before the days of restaurants and cafés, many French towns and villages had their own traiteur who would prepare one dish every day for the locals. The natural progression was that communal tables and benches were introduced, so that the locals could not only enjoy the traiteur's creation, but also each other’s company.

Francis is an award-winning chef based in the Cotswolds and his fabulous meals contain no nasty added bits. They are immediately flash frozen, which means that when times get busy, all you need to worry about is warming up the yummy goodness.
