Steamed, dried and cracked grains of durum wheat. Cous Cous is normally used as an alternative for either pasta or rice in savoury dishes, but also can be a key ingredient in cold or warm salads. Fry Cous Cous in oil for 2-3 mins, until coated, then boil 1 part Cous Cous to 2 parts water until water is absorbed.
