The soya beans in this mince are ground & defatted with a pressure process - giving half-defatted soy-meal (5% fat). It is then processed further and steam extruded into chunks. Use as a protein source in recipes such as pies or vegetarian bolognese. Best when marinated in a highly flavoured stock for 1-2 hours.
