Wildlife Friendly

Thick and full of flavour, the rump steak is a large cut of beef taken from the back of the cow. Due to their size it is best to fry or griddle them for around two minutes per side to ensure the meat retains its tenderness. When served they are often cut into ribbons and served with rich sauces such as peppercorn.

Farm Wilder beef is sustainably reared in Devon. Our farmers maintain habitat for endangered Marsh Fritillary Butterflies and Cuckoos. The native cattle breeds are pasture-fed, a regenerative farming technique that locks carbon into the soil.
