Ewe’s curd is Homewood dairy’s speciality. Fresh, tangy and zesty yet still cool and creamy, you can tell that this cheese has been handmade in small batches. The recipe is simple – just milk, from a flock of ewes in neighbouring Dorset, traditional cultures and rennet and a touch of sea salt. Crack open a pot and you’ll be tempted to dive straight in. In fact, this dreamy, spreadable cheese works just as well with sweet flavours as it does with savoury. Try a nice spoonful of it with fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey.
