A wholemeal is a wholesome choice, and this particular loaf has been given a full 24 hours for slow fermentation and proving, which not only gives it extra depth of flavour but aids digestion.

This wholemeal loaf is handmade using wild yeasts and traditional methods by Bristol's award-winning bakery, Mark’s Bread. If you haven’t heard of Mark’s Bread (where have you been), it’s a small South Bristol-based craft bakery with a big heart. Nourishing the city with specialist sourdoughs, that are kinder on your stomach than your usual breads. Mark’s loaves are made with Shipton Mill organic flour with no additives or preservatives.
